Examining the displays at the park entrance on Concord Street, the end of our walk. This area was the site of the Dakota village named Kaposia. It was the home of Little Crow, who later became the leader of the Dakota during the 1862 uprising. The #71 bus stop is a short distance north of here, at the intersection with Butler Ave.
